Controller and contact
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Jannis Lux Custom Recruiting, Wolfsberg 7, 45478 Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany
Email: info@custom-recruiting.de
General information on processing
We process personal data only where a legal basis under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies — in particular where processing is necessary to respond to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or where we have a legitimate interest in operating this website reliably and securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law.
Server log data
When this website is accessed, technical log data is generated automatically (for example, the requested page, browser type and access time). This is standard technical behavior of any web server and is not linked to your identity by us.
This website is hosted by STRATO AG. This log data is stored for a maximum of seven days and then automatically deleted.
Hosting
This website is hosted by STRATO AG (Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany), a hosting provider with data centers in Germany. Processing takes place under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Contact form
If you use our contact form, we process the information you provide — name, company, business email address, phone number, your area of interest and your message — in order to respond to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). This information is sent to us by email and is not stored in a separate database. We do not request or accept job application documents through this form.
Confirmation and notification emails
After you submit the contact form, you receive an automatic confirmation email and we receive an internal notification. Both emails are sent through our hosting provider, STRATO AG, using a dedicated mailbox for this website.
Spam protection
Our contact form uses technical measures to reduce automated spam submissions — such as a hidden field that should remain empty and a minimum time check between loading and submitting the form. These measures do not involve sending your data to a third party. If we later introduce an additional, third-party spam-protection service, this section will be updated to name that service before it is used.
Fonts
This website uses web fonts that are hosted locally on our own server. No connection to an external font provider is made when you visit this site and no data is transmitted to a third party for this purpose.
External scheduling link
As an alternative to the contact form, we link to an external scheduling service (Calendly) where you can book a call with us directly. This link is a plain link, not an embedded widget — no data is transmitted to the scheduling provider unless you actively click the link and continue on their website. If you do, the scheduling provider's own privacy policy applies to any information you provide there.
Cookies
This website uses "necessary" cookies that are required for core functionality and do not require your consent. Additional "marketing" cookies — currently used for Google Ads, see below — are only set after you have actively given your consent. When you first visit this website, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, accept only the necessary ones, or choose in detail. You can review or change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page.
Google Ads
With your consent, we use Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to measure the performance of our online advertising and, where applicable, to show remarketing ads to previous visitors of this website on other websites. For this purpose, Google Ads may set cookies and use comparable technologies once you have given your consent via the cookie banner.
This processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you do not consent, Google Ads is not activated and no related cookies are set. Data processed in this context may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States; Google has committed to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework as a basis for this transfer. Further information is available in Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, using "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR);
- request that we correct inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR);
- request that we erase your data, where applicable (Art. 17 GDPR);
- request that we restrict processing, where applicable (Art. 18 GDPR);
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR);
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR); and
- withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@custom-recruiting.de.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
As we are established in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the competent authority for us is:
